Florida State football started the 2025 season on a high note, as they defeated the Alabama Crimson Tide by a score of 31-17. This made people think that the Seminoles were going to be serious College Football Playoff contenders.
However, we learned that college football is unpredictable, as Florida State lost seven of its last nine games. Head football coach Mike Norvell had the administration issue a statement where it retained for the 2026 season.
Most of the fan base thought that it was a bad idea to retain Coach Norvell next year because they mentioned that he is incompetent to lead this university’s football program anymore. While I am not one to grab my pitchfork, I understand the frustration of the situation.
