On Sunday at 11 a.m. the National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning in effect until 11:30 a.m. for Mobile County.
Residents should prepare for wind gusts of up to 60 mph.
“At 11 a.m., a severe thunderstorm was located over Bayou La Batre, moving northeast at 65 mph,” states the weather service. “Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.”…
