LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — The main cabin of the Double Head Resort was a total loss following a fire Saturday morning, according to the Lawrence County EMA.
The EMA said that Lawrence County Central 911 got several calls just before 5 a.m. Saturday reporting a large fire at Double Head Resort in the Red Bank community. Callers told dispatch that the fire appeared to come from the main lodge.
Roads begin to close across North Alabama due to winter weather
When the Red Bank Fire Department arrived, firefighters confirmed that the main lodge was fully involved and immediately called for assistance.
