Widespread closures include courts, stores, schools

Many businesses, churches, schools and other organizations around the Pittsburgh region are shutting down as a record-setting snowfall continues to accumulate.

A broad list of closings and delays is available from TribLive news partner WTAE. The list includes school districts, churches, cultural institutions and attractions such as the National Aviary, which is closed through Tuesday.

While some school districts are going to remote instruction for Monday, the Plum School District is among those closed fully. It declared that Monday will be a “traditional snow day,” with no remote or virtual classes, and students will not need to make up the day. All athletic practices and events are also canceled…
