Good Samaritans rescue driver from burning car on Highway 50 in Sacramento

(FOX40.COM) — The California Highway Patrol responded to a vehicle fire on Westbound Highway 50 just east of Zinfandel Drive, which resulted in a male driver being hospitalized.

According to CHP, the driver appeared to suffer a medical emergency before his vehicle struck the center divider wall, bounced off, came to a rest and blocked the number two and third lanes.

After several vehicles passed the crash, CHP said at least two good Samaritans stopped to help…
