SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Multi-Grammy Award–winning singer and San Diego’s own Jason Mraz stopped by the KUSI studios Friday evening alongside Robert Baker, the assistant choir director of the San Diego Young Artists Music Academy, to spotlight an upcoming community concert benefiting young performers of all abilities across San Diego County.
“Dream” is a collaborative community concert presented by the Jason Mraz Foundation. The event brings together professional musicians, local students, and nonprofit arts organizations for two live performances at the California Center for the Arts in Escondido.
“We create opportunities for these nonprofits to shine,” said Mraz. “We collaborate with nonprofits all around San Diego. They bring their dancing, their musicianship, their singing, their playing their visual art onto the stage for one collaborative, theatrical pop concert.”…
