RICHMOND, Va. (WAVY) — Executive Branch agencies in the Metro Richmond area will be closed Monday due to inclement weather, the Virginia Department of Human Resources announced Sunday on X.
Employees eligible to telework are expected to work from home, while others should consult their supervisors for alternative arrangements.
The closure comes as a winter storm is forecast to move across the Commonwealth Sunday and Monday.
State officials said they are closely monitoring conditions and advised residents to check local TV and radio stations or the Department of Human Resource Management website Sunday afternoon for any updates.
