Corpus Christi, Texas – Rare and dangerous cold is gripping South Texas, putting people, pets, plants, and plumbing at risk as freezing temperatures and bitter wind chills persist through Monday morning.
According to the National Weather Service in Corpus Christi, Freeze Warnings remain in effect until noon Monday across much of the Coastal Bend, with an Extreme Cold Warning in place from the pre-dawn hours through late morning.
