New Orleans area schools announce closures ahead of freeze. See list.

As an Arctic blast brings widespread freezing conditions to southeast Louisiana, some schools announced closures for Monday, Jan. 26. Overnight lows are expected to fall into the 20s across St. Charles Parish, the northshore and New Orleans before temperatures slowly rebound later in the day.
