OKLAHOMA — A sweeping winter storm brought snow, icy roads and dangerously cold conditions to much of Oklahoma, prompting school districts across the state to cancel classes and suspend activities for Monday, January 26, 2026.
In the Oklahoma City area, Norman Public Schools confirmed that all classes and extracurricular activities are canceled Monday as officials continue to monitor treacherous road conditions. Mid-Del Schools, Edmond Public Schools, Putnam City Schools, Moore Public Schools and Yukon Public Schools also announced closures.
