Idaho 50501 holds ‘Stop ICE Terror’ rally after shooting of Alex Pretti

BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — On Sunday, Idaho 50501 held a press conference at Boise City Hall along with a ‘Stop ICE Terror’ emergency rally in response to the shooting of Alex Jeffrey Pretti by federal immigration agents in Minneapolis.

Pretti, a VA nurse and member of AFGE Local 3669, was shot by masked federal agents. Video footage allegedly shows Pretti being taken down and force used by federal agents before the shooting.

Idaho 50501 called for an independent, state-led investigation and the release of all related video, reports, and records. They urged state and local leaders to sever 287(g) agreements that link local law enforcement with federal immigration enforcement, citing these programs as a risk to community safety…
