Man killed in head-on collision with semi going the wrong way US 287

A 21-year-old man was killed in a head-on collision involving a semitruck going the wrong way on U.S. Highway 287 the morning of Jan. 24, according to Colorado State Patrol.

The crash was reported to state patrol at 4:46 a.m., Sgt. Ivan Alvarado told the Coloradoan. Alvarado said a semitruck driven by a 24-year-old man was going the wrong way on U.S. 287 when it hit a Toyota sedan head-on.

The crash was north of Fort Collins, at milepost 355 between Larimer County Road 54G and Poudre Canyon Road (Colorado Highway 14)…
