No-Hands Spaghetti Dinner held Thursday

Raising money just got a little messier for Roundup River Ranch – but in a good way. The No-Hands Spaghetti Dinner is a different twist on a charity event and one that’s rooted in the spirit of summer camp fun.

“At camp, the No-Hands Spaghetti Night is all about letting kids be kids, being silly, letting go and sharing big laughs with one another. It’s one of those moments where campers forget about hospitals, diagnoses and treatments and simply enjoy being together,” said Sarah Johnson, president and CEO of Roundup River Ranch. This is one of 30 camps around the world that are a part of Paul Newman’s SeriousFun Children’s Network. The camps provide free, life-changing experiences for kids with life-altering diagnoses and their families.

“We decided to bring it to the public because we wanted our supporters to experience camp the way our campers do. Not everyone can visit our 125-acre ranch along the Colorado River, but this event lets us bring camp joy directly into the community,” Johnson said.

The No-Hands Spaghetti Dinner has been hosted in the Vail Valley for four years. Head to Sauce on the Creek for the event in Eagle County on Jan. 29 or the inaugural Denver-based event will be held on the same night at Social Capitol…
