Shalla loving National Western Stock Show Rodeo

DENVER — Rodeo action at the National Western Stock Show on Friday saw the completion of the final bracket before Saturday’s Semi-Finals.

Wacey Shalla of Arapaho, Okla., competed in bareback riding and bull riding in that bracket showing fans what it takes to be an all-around cowboy. While he wasn’t successful in the bull riding, he made up for it in the bareback riding. At the matinee performance, he had a solid 82.5-point effort on Bailey Pro Rodeo’s horse named Vendetta.

He came back to Friday night’s rodeo excited to get on Warning Shot, another horse owned by Bailey Pro Rodeo. It was the best match up of the rodeo so far and when the judges added up their scores, Shalla had an 89 by his name…
