CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – A Charlotte-area couple will have a unique story to tell their child one day after they walked to the hospital to give birth amid this past weekend’s winter storm.
David and Shelby Montes braved the elements on Sunday, Jan. 26 when they set out from their hotel toward a hospital in Charlotte.
The couple from Matthews planned for Shelby to be induced but the weather posed a real threat to that plan. Luckily, they reacted in a way that kept the show on the road — or at least on the sidewalk…
