HCOEM warns motorists to drive with caution

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Hamilton County Office of Emergency Management (HCOEM) encourages motorists to drive with caution if traveling on Signal Mountain/Waldens Ridge and Mowbray Mountain.

According HCOEM, their services continue to report low hanging tree limbs over the roadways and low visibility due to heavy fog and encourage motorists to stay home if possible.

They say the National Weather Service is reporting temperatures will drop quickly tonight, leading to black ice formation on roads and impacting the Monday morning commute…
