Wilderness Lodge stars in a new exhibit at Erie’s Hagen History Center.
First opened as a snowmobile lodge by James and Nansi Janes in 1969, the state’s first cross-country skiing center, at 13488 Weeks Valley Road in Venango Township, is still operated by the Janes family.
The exhibit celebrates the lodge’s 56 years and the artwork of its founders.
