CENTREVILLE, MI (WTVB) – A former contracted food service worker for Mendon Community Schools was sentenced to prison Friday for the sexual assault of two teenage boys, according to the St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office.
34-year-old Kaitlyn Sand received a minimum sentence of five years in prison after pleading no contest in December 2025 to two counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct. Following her prison term, Sand will be eligible for parole but must remain on the Michigan Sex Offender Registry for the remainder of her life.
