Report offers more details into man’s arrest after standoff with Horry County police

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A 33-year-old man arrested after a standoff with Horry County police last week allegedly brandished a pellet gun perceived as a real gun and hit his child’s mother, documents show.

Aaron Henry Wigger was charged with first-degree domestic violence and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. He was booked into the J. Reuben Long Detention Center just after midnight on Wednesday and released Thursday morning on a $30,000 bond.
