MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) — A Montgomery family is trying to figure out what comes next after severe storms sent a massive tree crashing into their home — destroying entire rooms, medical equipment, and decades of family memories.
The damage happened Sunday when powerful winds ripped a tree from the ground and slammed it into the Floyd family’s house. The impact crushed a bedroom and part of the kitchen, leaving the family trapped inside and without power.
