Arrows could help alleviate dangerous traffic situation in The Villages

Saturday morning at 6:45 a.m., I am stopped at the traffic signal on southbound Morse Boulevard at County Road 44. A driver makes a left turn from the eastbound lane on County Road 44 onto the southbound lane of Morse Blvd, the WRONG WAY. The vehicle was now traveling north in the SOUTHBOUND lane. Every vehicle behind me was blowing their horns and flashing the brights. It didn’t matter. They get continued their path.

This is not the first time this has occurred. I have previously contacted county officials from the transportation department about putting large white arrows so people can (hopefully) follow the correct path. To this date, it has not been done and it probably won’t be installed until someone is seriously hurt or killed by a negligent driver. What can the cost be to…..
