Driver cited after hitting telephone pole in Warren

WARREN, R.I. (WPRI) — A driver received a citation, but did not suffer any serious injuries after colliding with a telephone pole near the intersection of Market Street and Chestnut Street on Saturday.

Warren Police Lt. Christopher Perreault told 12 News that crews responded to Market Street near a convenience store, where a pickup truck had struck a telephone pole just after 3 p.m. on Saturday.
