News10NBC team tracks storm’s impact from across our region

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Rochester region is working to unbury after being slammed by the largest winter storm in at least eight years. News10NBC’s crew is out in the field on Monday, tracking the road conditions, the snow totals, and closures.

We’re still under a Yellow Alert for Monday. While the storm is over, many areas could see between one and three more inches of lake-effect snow through Monday afternoon. You can see the latest forecast here. Here’s some of our coverage from across the region:

Rochester

Snow continued to fall heavily on Sunday, keeping plows busy on the roads. Despite their efforts, streets quickly turned white again.

Officials recommended avoiding travel unless necessary. However, some places, like hospitals, might require a visit. News10NBC visited the emergency room entrance at Rochester General Hospital and saw plows clearing both the entrance and exit paths, as well as the parking lot…
