Full steam ahead for tamale vendors as Día de la Candelaria approaches

SAN DIEGO (Border Report) — Abelardo Gómez has been selling tamales in downtown Tijuana for more than 30 years.

He and other vendors recently told El Sol de Tijuana that Christmastime is always the busiest, but there is another date for which they prepare a bunch of tamales: February 2nd.
