Man killed in Skaneateles worksite accident identified

Skaneateles, N.Y. — A man who died in a work site accident Thursday morning in the town of Skaneateles has been identified.

The man was Hunter Michael Foley, 27, of Watertown, according to Thomas Newton, an Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson.

Around 10:36 a.m. Thursday, Foley was seriously injured at 1725 Coon Hill Road when he was struck in the head by an excavator, according to Onondaga County 911 Center dispatches. Foley was taken to Upstate University Hospital, where he later died…
