A 51-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a man found in Hyde Park last year. The victim, subsequently identified as 52-year-old Christopher Lewis of St. Louis City, MO, was discovered with fatal gunshot wounds on July 27, 2025. In a recent development, the St. Louis City Circuit Attorney’s Office has levied charges that include Murder 1st Degree, Armed Criminal Action, and two counts of Tampering with Evidence against the suspect, who is currently being held without bond.
Following a call to the 4300 block of Randall Place shortly after 12:15 p.m. on the day of the incident, the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department officers arrived to find Lewis already fallen, no more able to speak to the violence that claimed his life. EMS personnel were prompt to respond but could ultimately only pronounce him deceased upon their arrival, as relayed by a statement from the police department.
