Unless its owners have a quick change of heart, a historic home in Kirkwood will be demolished come March.
The end of the review period is Feb. 23 for the demolition of the Marquitz-Garesche House, 751 N. Taylor Ave., which is more than 150 years old. Constructed in 1858, the home was designated a “Local Landmark” in 1982. The two-story frame Italianate home is located in the North Taylor Local Historic District.
