TUCSON, Ariz. — A suspect has been taken into custody after a 7-Eleven employee was shot to death at a store in southern Arizona.
The Tucson Police Department said 55-year-old Scott Dwayne Kennedy died while working at the 7-Eleven location near 29th Street and Swan Road on the night of Jan. 22. Kennedy had reportedly confronted a shoplifter before the shooting occurred, police said.
The suspect fled from the store, and no other injuries were reported…
