2 men plead guilty to leading police on 100-mph chase, crashing through GM plant fence

SAGINAW, MI — Two young men have admitted to leading police on a high-speed chase in the wake of a double shooting, a pursuit that only ended when the fleeing vehicle crashed through the fence of GM plant.

Audonis T. Barnett and Misael A. Lugo, both 20, on Jan. 13 appeared before Saginaw County Circuit Judge Darnell Jackson to plead guilty to resisting or obstructing police causing injury. Barnett of Saginaw also pleaded guilty to carrying a concealed weapon while Lugo of Detroit pleaded guilty to two counts of assault, resisting, or obstructing police.
