Tragedy struck Fayetteville on a late last night as two people were shot to death and two more were left critically wounded. The Fayetteville Police Department reported to a scene on North Sumac Circle just before 9:40 p.m. after receiving calls about a shooting, with officers arriving to discover a man and a woman fatally wounded by gunfire, as per ABC11. The grim find did not end there, as another pair were found, one with a gunshot wound and the other with injuries that seemed to originate from a stabbing.

The police response revealed an attempt to quickly secure and understand a chaotic scene. They found not only the deceased but also two others with severe injuries, one of which, a woman, had been shot, and a man with what was described as “possible stab wounds”, according to CBS17. Emergency medical personnel rushed to render aid, subsequently transporting the injured parties to the hospital where they continue to fight for their lives.

The incident occurred in the 5200 block of N.
