Lanes of Interstate 75 will close beginning Monday night for repairs to the County Road 320 overpass that was damaged by a dump truck last year, with concrete barriers and detour signs now in place to block traffic over the bridge.
Video footage taken at the scene over the weekend shows the roadway completely closed off to traffic, with “Road Closed” signage and barricades preventing vehicles from crossing the overpass.
The continuous closure, which began on Thursday, Jan. 22, is necessary for crews to repair the bridge structure in light of a dump truck crashing into it last year.
Heavy equipment has been hauled in and crews have been at the scene addressing the structural issues caused by the incident.
