HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Huntsville City Schools will operate on a two-hour delay Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2026, district officials announced. Bus pick-up times, employee reporting times, and school start times will all be pushed back by two hours.
Schools will follow normal dismissal schedules, and all after-school programs, athletic events, and extracurricular activities will continue as planned. Families are encouraged to send students dressed for cold weather, and drivers are urged to use extra caution traveling to and from campuses…
