Military banners coming back to Myrtle Beach, honoring veterans & active service members

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) — Military banners are coming back to the beach for a second year.

This initiative is put on by the City of Myrtle Beach and the Military Appreciation Committee, with the purpose of honoring veterans and active-duty service members.

The military banners will be hung along Harrelson Boulevard and Robert Grissom Parkway from May-August, and city officials said each banner will feature a high-resolution photo (veteran must be uniform) of a veteran or active-duty military member and branch of military…
