EVERGREEN, Ala. (WKRG) — An Evergreen doctor has been charged with arson and insurance fraud, according to the Alabama State Fire Marshal’s Office.

According to an ASFMO Facebook post, Douglas O’Connor was arrested and charged with second-degree arson and first-degree insurance fraud.
The arrest came after a 10-month-long investigation by the Attorney General’s Office and the Alabama State Fire Marshal’s Office into an explosion at O’Connor’s dental practice in Evergreen.
O’Connor turned himself in on Friday, Jan. 23, and is currently being held in the Conecuh County Jail, pending bond…
