Suspect wanted in Ohio and Georgia found with beer in car

A suspect wanted in Ohio and Georgia was found with beer in his car while parked in a neighborhood in Wildwood.

Teddy Dean Gilk, 64, was found on Saturday morning in a green Ford SUV in the 8100 block of Penrose Place in the Beaumont Development after a caller reported a suspicious vehicle, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department.

Gilk was found sitting in the vehicle with its engine running. There were two open beer cans beside him in the center console as well as a cardboard box with ice and additional beers in the rear seat.

Gilk, who handed the police officer an Indiana identification card, claimed he was in the neighborhood because he “seals driveways.” However, he admitted he was not hired to do any work in that neighborhood. He told the officer he thought he was in The Villages. The officer found that Gilk was known to use the alias “Dino Lamar.”…
