Women busted with cocaine at entrance to Brownwood in The Villages

Two women were busted with cocaine near the entrance to Brownwood in The Villages.

Jessica Francine Shrimplin, 37, of Leesburg, was driving a red Chevrolet Malibu at about 10:30 p.m. Friday westbound on State Road 44 at Meggison Road when she was pulled over because the vehicle did not have a functional taglight.

Shrimplin, who had been arrested in December in Leesburg, was driving on a revoked license. She was in possession of a crack pipe that contained cocaine.

A passenger in the vehicle, 27-year-old Victoria Rachelle Pike of Fruitland Park, who also has a criminal history, was also found to be possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia.

Shrimplin was arrested on charges of possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while license revoked. She was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center on $11,000 bond…
