After several wedding guests found themselves snowed in at a Pennsylvania hotel, staff took it upon themselves to make their extended stays as enjoyable as possible.

On Sunday, Jan. 25, a historic snowstorm blanketed the Pittsburgh area, dropping more than 10 inches of snow across most of the region and marking the snowiest day in 16 years, per CBS News. Some counties even saw up to a whopping 20 inches of snow.

According to local outlet WPXI, dozens of hotel guests were stranded at a Hampton Inn off the Turnpike in North Huntingdon Township because leaving would require them to dig their tires out of the snow and drive on dangerous roadways.
