Providence teen charged in Cranston shots-fired incident

CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) — Police have arrested a 16-year-old boy following an investigation into a shots-fired incident that happened in Cranston on New Year’s Eve.

Cranston Police Col. Michael Winquist announced Monday that the teenager, who’s from Providence, opened fire on a Pleasant Street duplex the night of Dec. 31, 2025.

Winquist said officers discovered two bullets lodged in the side of the home and several shell casings in the roadway…
