Keleena is an Illustration student at the Rochester Institute of Technology. She applied for the 2025 JEMS-sponsored Carlos H. Straight Memorial Scholarship last spring as a senior attending AuSable Valley High School. JEMS paused the scholarship following difficult financial times following the COVID epidemic. Although the not-for-profit continues to climb its way back financially, the JEMS Board has been eager to give back to the community in ways that foster the arts and has announced Keleena Bresett as the scholarship recipient for 2025.
