A backyard shed fire that resulted in the closure of Ely Boulevard South in Petaluma Monday morning is now out and the street is now open to traffic.
Petaluma Fire Department officials issued an alert at about 8:25 a.m. saying Ely Boulevard South was closed in both directions between Caulfield and Meadowview lanes because of a structure fire.
