Tracy, CA (January 25, 2026) – A multi-vehicle collision involving four vehicles was reported on January 25, on the I-5 southbound to Interstate 205 west connector in Tracy, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash caused lane blockages and resulted in reported injuries. CHP logs indicate that the vehicles involved included a white Tesla, a black pickup truck, a black SUV, and a possible fourth vehicle. One injured individual complained of pain and was transported to Sutter Tracy Community Hospital by American Medical Response for further evaluation. Other involved parties were assessed at the scene and did not require ambulance transport. Tracy Fire Department assisted with scene safety while CHP coordinated traffic control and vehicle recovery. CHP continues to review the incident to determine how the collision unfolded. No names have been released, and injuries were described as non-life-threatening.
