Jersey City Schools Closed Tuesday, More Snow Possible this Weekend

The Mid-Atlantic region will dig itself out from the weekend snowstorm that, by some estimates, dropped more than 8 inches in Jersey City — just in time for a new snow threat this weekend. In the meantime, the Jersey City Public Schools (JCPS) will be closed for a second day Tuesday.

AccuWeather is tracking several possible forecasts for a storm that will originate on the Gulf Coast. What will start as a wintry mix in the South early Friday will move East and northward come Saturday, and, if the system remains weak, it is possible it will stay well to the South of New Jersey.
