ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO)— Two teenagers accused of helping plan an armed robbery that led to the killing of a Rockford 17‑year‑old are now facing murder charges as adults, more than a year after the fatal shooting.
Rockford Police say Anthony Greenwood, 18, and Demario Murphy, 18, were among nine suspects charged in a conspiracy that culminated in the teen’s death on November 18, 2024, at a home in the 1100 block of Chestnut Street.
