NEENAH – The emergency department at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Neenah (ThedaCare-Neenah) has been recognized by Wisconsin Emergency Medical Services for Children (WI EMSC) for its commitment to providing high-quality care for pediatric patients.
Emergency Department Manager Audrey Rosin said the recognition highlights ThedaCare-Neenah’s readiness to treat children, who require specialized care due to differences in anatomy, physiology and medical needs compared to adults.
“This recognition should help assure families within our communities that during a child’s health emergency, they can rely on us as a compassionate, trusted and highly-skilled partner,” she said. “It really helps demonstrate our readiness to treat and care for our youngest patients.
