Tens of thousands of Louisianans still didn’t have power Monday morning after the weekend’s winter weather, but outages in Caddo and Bossier are relatively few.
With Winter Storm Fern passed through but the icy conditions it created sticking around, power outages throughout the three-state SWEPCO service territory are still high with about 27,600 Louisiana customers without electricity. But in Caddo and Bossier, fewer than 1,500 customers were without power Monday morning.
Around 9 a.m. Monday, SWEPCO reported it had about 33,800 customer outages. Most of those were in Louisiana:
- Bienville Parish: 713 outages
- Bossier Parish: 369 outages
- Caddo Parish: 1,057 outages
- De Soto Parish: 5,538 outages
- Grant Parish: 811 outages
- Natchitoches Parish: 4,462 outages
- Red River Parish: 2,752 outages
- Sabine Parish: 6,715 outages
- Vernon Parish: 4,327 outages
- Webster Parish: 423 outages
- Winn Parish: 255 outages
