Authorities have identified a 56-year-old Florida man who died in an icy pileup Saturday on I-10 just northwest of San Antonio.
The Texas Department of Public Safety said John Robert Tracy, of Lutz, Florida, died after the 12-vehicle pileup on I-10 near mile marker 470 in Kimble County.
A DPS preliminary report says the 12 drivers were heading eastbound when Tracy’s 2017 Toyota pickup was struck, causing it to drive into a ditch. The initial collision sparked a chain reaction involving four tractor-trailers, a box truck, a Dodge van, an Audi passenger, and several other cars…
