Stolen Vehicle Alert Leads to Drug Arrest in North Platte

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. — A stolen vehicle alert led to the arrest of a Colorado man on drug and theft charges Saturday morning in North Platte.

According to the North Platte Police Department, officers received a FLOCK automatic license plate recognition (ALPR) camera alert at approximately 8:15 a.m. on January 24 indicating a vehicle reported stolen out of Lakewood, Colorado, had entered the city.

Officers responded to the south side of North Platte near the Interstate 80 Exit 177 interchange, where the vehicle was located at a business in the 100 block of Holiday Frontage Road. Police established a perimeter and made contact with the driver…
