Corvallis DUI arrest follows local complaints of dangerous driving

CORVALLIS, Ore. – A Corvallis resident was arrested Monday following multiple complaints of erratic driving, according to the Corvallis Police Department.

CPD officials said that 27-year-old Korbin Ray Clemmons was taken into custody on Jan. 26 after reports of dangerous driving around Northwest Monroe Avenue and Northwest Arnold Avenue. Officers found Clemmons’ light blue Ford Taurus near its registered address. Upon police officers’ arrival, Clemmons fled on foot but was quickly caught in a nearby backyard, authorities said.

Clemmons, a registered sex offender, had an active warrant and was found to be in abscond status with an active Oregon State Parole Board warrant. Additionally, Clemmons had an extraditable U.S. Marshals Service warrant for failing to register as a sex offender…
