A fire significantly damaged an older shelter Sunday, Jan. 25, in Tualatin’s Community Park.
Firefighters from Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue responded to a report of a fire around 6:30 p.m. When they arrived, they found the park’s Rustic Shelter actively burning.
“Crews quickly knocked down the flames and prevented further spread (of the fire),” according to a TVF&R statement. “The shelter sustained visible damage, but no injuries were reported”…
