JAN. 26 POLICE BLOTTER: Assault, several burglaries reported in northeast Baltimore County

NOTTINGHAM, MD—The Baltimore County Police Department has reported a series of burglaries and a violent encounter across several communities, including Rosedale, Nottingham, Essex, and White Marsh, during the third week of January.

Recent Activity in Rosedale

Rosedale residents faced multiple incidents over a four-day span. On January 18, a first-degree burglary was reported in the 6500 block of Ridge Road. Police state that an unknown suspect entered the location at approximately midnight and fled with a stolen weapon. Later that morning, at roughly 8 a.m., an assault occurred near the intersection of Pulaski Highway and 68th Street. In that case, a suspect reportedly exited a vehicle and threatened a victim with a weapon.

The local crime blotter also noted a second-degree burglary in the 8600 block of Pulaski Highway on the evening of January 21. At approximately 7:30 p.m., an unknown individual broke into the premises and stole property before leaving the scene.

Burglaries in Nottingham and White Marsh

On January 21, police responded to two separate first-degree burglaries in the northeastern part of the county. The first occurred at 7 a.m. in the 4900 block of Mercantile Road in White Marsh, where personal property was reported missing.

Later that morning, at approximately 10:30 a.m., two suspects targeted a location in the 4300 block of Winterode Way in Nottingham. Authorities confirmed that personal property was taken during the encounter.

Arrest Made in Essex Case

While many of the week’s suspects remain unidentified, police successfully closed a case in Essex. On January 21, at approximately 12:20 p.m., a known suspect burglarized a location in the 1100 block of Trace Drive. Following an investigation, the individual was located and taken into custody…
